Principal Attorney

Benjamin Alley

Benjamin Alley is the principal attorney of Alley Law. He has represented clients in a wide variety of estate planning, trust administration, probate, and business matters. Benjamin leads and manages the Alley Law team in providing high-quality services to clients throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. Benjamin earned his Juris Doctor degree and tax certificate from the University of Kansas School of Law, where he was selected to serve on the University of Kansas Law Review and was a member of both the International Law Society and Christian Legal Society. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Benjamin was a proprietor in the restaurant industry and a minister. Benjamin also brings extensive experience working across cultures. He has lived and taught English in China and speaks conversational Mandarin Chinese. He has served on staff and as a lay leader in Chinese churches in the United States for over three decades. His international experience extends well beyond Asia — Benjamin has worked with Africans to rebuild an orphanage in Nairobi, assisted Malaysians in relocating crocodiles on a nature reserve in Borneo, participated in an archaeological excavation near Jerusalem with Israelis, and led humanitarian trips to both the Himalayas and Jamaica. These experiences have given Benjamin the flexibility and intercultural finesse to approach each client's situation from a thoughtful, well-rounded perspective.

Pauline Tang

Office Manager

Pauline Tang manages all operational aspects of the firm. A certified Suzuki piano teacher with an M.A. in Music Theory, Pauline previously held management roles at Holy Names College and the University of Michigan Music School, where she modernized operations with database systems and computerized billing. She also established an independent piano studio with integrated computer management systems. While music continues to be her passion, Pauline enjoys and thrives in a dynamic team environment, organizing tasks and streamlining processes. Pauline is an active member of the Chinese Bible Missions Church of Los Angeles, serving as a worship and small group leader.

Anna Alley

Client Liaison

Anna Alley is a dedicated Client Liaison at Alley Law Group, where she serves as a trusted point of contact for clients throughout their estate planning journey. Known for her attentive and compassionate approach, Anna ensures that each client feels informed, supported, and confident at every stage of the process. With a strong focus on organization and communication, Anna helps coordinate client onboarding, attorney scheduling, manages the secure client portal, and facilitates the smooth collection of essential documents. She works closely with the legal team to ensure that client needs are addressed efficiently and that timelines are met with care and precision. Anna takes pride in making what can often feel like a complex and overwhelming process more approachable and streamlined. Her commitment to client service reflects the firm's core values of professionalism, clarity, and personalized attention.

Sharon So

Administrator

Sharon grew up in Hong Kong and obtained her B.S. in Genetics from the University of California, Davis, and Master of Public Health from the University of Southern California. Prior to joining Alley Law, she had professional experience as a health educator, data analyst, and financial consultant working in the hospital and healthcare industry. Her communication and data analysis training enable her to be effective at managing the administrative operations and finance functions of the firm. In her spare time, she enjoys taking her two sons to their sports practices and games with her husband. She likes music and art, and is a freelance floral designer for weddings and events. She also loves to travel anywhere there's a beach — her favorites are Hawaii and Japan. She is fluent in English and Cantonese Chinese.
